#myplace Announcements August

1. Application for #myplace Xcess now open.

#myplace Xcess Levels will be revised next month. All interested applicants should mail me at jjc1988@hotmail.com before 10 September with the following,

- Name
- Age
- Current Occupation (If applicant is a student, please name the institution as well)
- Quotidian Duration Online
- A personal statement of at least 200 words, not exceeding 300. This must also state why the
applicant should deserve the access, what he/she will do to contribute to #myplace, etc.
- Portfolio (Optional)
- Contact No.

Up to a maximum of three commitee members may be selected from the applicants. Results will be announced online on 12 September. Appeals will be entertained then. All information will be kept confidential. Submissions should be written in clear, perfect English where applicable. DO NOT penalise yourself by submitting an application that is lacking in sincerity, incomplete or grammatically unsound.

Caveat- Current Xcess holders' access will be invalidated by 9 September 2005 if they do not apply as per above. However, this will not guarantee the current Xcess holders' tenure. The application will still be subjected to simillar scrutiny albeit all previous contribution by the applicant will be taken into consideration for a second term.

2. #myplace Sentosa 2005

Meet at: Harbourfront
Time : 10 am

*tardy people will be slapped.

#myplace brings back the Sentosa expedition on the 28 August. All interested participants should direct their queries to Edric or John.
